Next time I would book a different room with direct access to pool

The stay at Meridian was fantastic !! Great location and very nice accommodations. The location was ideal for our snorkeling trip to the great reef, and the desk clerk (Eloisa) was extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient !! Highly recommend this place !

The location was quite central to everything. The rooms were clean tidy comfortable with everything that I needed. It was adults only. The staff were friendly and accommodating with any special requests

Appreciate the additional check by Joan to make sure everything was alright. A great location to walk to all that Port Douglas ‘CBD’ had to offer. Parking underneath. Enjoyed the pool area, as were a large number of guests. Highly recommended.

Lovely and quiet, the studio apartment is well equipped, a bonus of having a microwave and washing machine serving 2 apartments, walking distance to main shops and a 2 min walk to four mile beach, I would stay at the meridian again😁
Well appointed rooms. Clean and well maintained. Fast WiFi. Air conditioning effective. Beds comfortable. Ground floor rooms have access to the pool directly. Walking distance to most of Port Douglas attractions.
Thank you for such an incredible stay at the Meridian Port Douglas during our honeymoon. Our room was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and we were thrilled to receive a complimentary room upgrade with direct pool access—it made our experience even more special. The location is ideal, just a short walk to Four Mile Beach, the marina, as well as a great selection of shops and restaurants. We truly didn’t want to leave and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
First time staying here and we definitely going to come back , the rooms are clean , every room has access straight to the swimming pool , quiet and only 5 minutes walk distance from the Main Street and swimming nets at the beach .

We had a wonderful stay at The Meridian in Port Douglas. The apartment was spotlessly clean with crisp, clean sheets and thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was especially well equipped, with glasses chilled in the fridge, water provided, and all the essentials like washing-up liquid, cloths, and washing powder — those little details really made a difference. We stayed in a very spacious one-bedroom apartment with a pool view, and it was perfect. The larger balcony with a table and four chairs was ideal for relaxing and for having our friends over — everything was set up for four people, which made it easy to spend time together. Our friends stayed in a studio with a garden view, which was also lovely. The pool area was great, parking was convenient, and overall the property felt welcoming and well cared for. We can’t wait to visit again and will definitely be back!

Location was great - short walk to the main street. Pool was great - swim out apartment was a must for us.

A great place to reset, the location is in a great location and a easy walk to all restaurants, bars and pubs, no car is required unless you want to venture out without using a tourist company The pool is good place to chat with others from various local and international visitors and best part was not having kids under the age of 15 disturbing the peace, The walk on 4 mile beach has easy access and is always great for first thing in the morning before the heat starts,
